Sugar Maple

Sugar Maple is Canada’s national tree. It is also one of the most important hardwood trees of northeastern North America.

Arbutus is Canada’s only native broadleaf evergreen tree. The glossy, dark green leaves and beautiful reddish-orange bark which peels in papery flakes sets this tree apart from all others in the forest.
