Nettle, Common Stinging
Leaves have stinging hairs. Flowers catkins June-August. Habitat: hedgebanks etc. Urticaceae. Ht 1 mtr plus. The favourite for many butterfly caterpillers egg nesting. Plant a patch in a back corner and watch the wildlife flock to your garden.
