Heirloom. Brighten your garden with this beautiful long-spurred North American native columbine! This large light yellow Columbine looks fantastic when massed together. Though columbine’s flowers are petite and delicate, they are very showy with their long spurs and fern-like foliage. Fragrant flowers bloom for six weeks, will rebloom if deadheaded immediately after flowering and reseed themselves readily. Thrives in a sunny spot or shade with rich, moist, well-drained soil. Gorgeous cut flower. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Heat and mildew resistant. Native to Southwestern U.S. and Mexico. Sun or part shade. Height 30-36 in.
