Physalis pruinosa 'Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry'

Description
This outstanding variety originated in Poland and is prized for its flavour. Fruits are 1/2 to 3/4 inch in diameter and are encased in a papery husk that turns brown when the fruits are ripe. Stores 3-4 weeks in the husk. Sprawling habit. Excellent citrus flavour, can be used for preserves, pies, over ice-cream and in fresh fruit salads.
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Germination 10-20 days.
