A native of South America, the tomato acquired the name 'Love Apple' because at one time it wast hrought to be an aprodisiac. Tomatoes have recently been discovered to contain 'Lycopene', an antioxidant thought to protect against certain cancers. Striped Stuffer, with its colourful, striped tasty fruit, can be hollowed out and filled with savoury foods, hence the name.
